HOW IT WORKS

Feedback reaches WebPinch three ways: a Chrome extension for teams reviewing sitesthey already browse; a shareable visual review link that requires no account fromthe reviewer; and direct entry in the dashboard for work that has no URL. All threefeed the same board.

Every pin becomes a task on a Kanban board with four columns — Backlog, In Progress,In Review, and Done — carrying priority, assignees, labels, checklists, due dates,subtasks, time tracking, attachments, and comments. Tasks can be pushed onward toGitHub or Jira as issues.

The visual review mode loads a site inside WebPinch, where reviewers can switchbetween desktop, tablet, and mobile widths, record the screen to demonstrate asequence, and open developer tools for technical bugs.

BUILT-IN SITE AUDITS

WebPinch includes an AI site audit that crawls a project's URL and returns anoverall health score alongside four views: broken and working links with their HTTPstatus codes, on-page SEO signals, a discovered site map, and general health checks.Audits can be re-run on demand and compared across dates, with configurable crawldepth and page limits for large sites.

AI-NATIVE FROM THE START

WebPinch ships an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, @webpinch/mcp, which exposes13 tools, 4 resources, and 3 prepared workflows to AI clients including Claude andCursor. Teams can ask an AI assistant to triage incoming tasks, turn a site auditinto a categorized fix list, or draft a weekly status note — working against theirlive projects rather than pasted excerpts.

The MCP server is a thin client over WebPinch's REST API at /api/v1, authenticatedwith scoped personal access tokens. Scopes limit each token to specific read orwrite operations, tokens are stored hashed and can be revoked instantly, and writeoperations verify permissions before executing.
